Fire Station #12 – Knoxville, TN
This fire station was saved from demolition and completely remodeled. A new commercial hood complete with grease duct and an exhaust fan were installed. The generator for the station was replaced and upgraded. This called for a new main gas line to be ran to the generator. Along the renovation there were also several smaller replacements and repairs to the HVAC system. This fire station is now complete and ready to serve the community.
Display Garage – Morristown, TN
The project consisted of conditioning 5,700 square feet of entertainment and office space as well as heating 10,000 square feet of garage space. The job required custom duct work throughout the building in order to make the appearance visually appealing. We also ran gas lines throughout the garage to fire places, a grill, heaters, furnaces and water heaters.
Rusty Wallace Chevrolet – Remodel
Installation of five new roof top package units to serve remodeled spaces. This included two showrooms, parts center, break room, lounge and several offices. Two of the units required completely new duct systems while the other systems duct work was retrofitted to accommodate the new layout.
Farragut Town Hall – Unit Replacement
Replaced 5 sets of twined furnaces along with 5 condensers and evaporator coils. There was also a need to replace one additional condenser. All of this work was accomplished in a professional manner while making downtimes as short as possible for our customer. The job was completed on time and to our customers expectations.
TAC Air – Knoxville
A 2,000 sq. ft. addition to the lobby as well as a new line shack were added to TAC Air at Mcghee Tyson Airport. During the addition the lobby was also completely renovated. In total 2 new package units were added to serve the new space while 9 existing units were replaced.
Tennessee College of Applied Technology – Knoxville
This project was for the State of Tennessee and consisted of replacing an air cooled chiller, boiler, 4 pumps and installing two variable frequency drives. The project went smoothly and on time. We received a perfect score on our performance review. All parties have been very satisfied with the results of the project.
Juvenile Justice Center
Performed multiple roof top unit change outs. Including building new curbs as well as curb adapters for various size units. Due to the customers request we performed much of the work over the weekend so that the building was back at a comfortable temperature by Monday morning.

Humane Society of Tennessee Valley
Working with the Humane Society we installed specially built HVAC systems to accommodate their working conditions to their new location. Volunteer Mechanical Inc. currently performs service and maintenance to their facility.
Museum of Appalachia
We upgraded the museum with more efficent HVAC systems. Volunteer Mechanical Inc. currently performs service and maintenance for the museum.
First Apostolic Church
We fabricated and installed all of the ductwork and units for the new addition.
Public Building Authority at John Tarleton
We installed all of the piping and a new chiller.
Monroe County Schools – Sequoyah High School Gym
We fabricated and installed the duct work, a duct sock inside across the ceiling, and set and installed (4) roof top units.
Roane County Courthouse
We performed the demolition and fabricated and installed all of the ductwork, installed all of the piping and the new units for the remodel.
Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse
We replaced all of the old roof top units with new equipment.
We installed a new chiller and all new piping.
Public Building Authority at the Health Department
We installed a new cooling tower.
We installed the insulation on all of the piping.
