HISTORY
About Us
Volunteer Mechanical was established in 1992 by Dennis and Kimberly Wood. It originally began as a small service company backed by Dennis’ 14 years of service experience. The company started by operating out of the Woods’ home in Knoxville. As the company grew, a sheet metal shop was added in the garage. The growing business then became incorporated in 1996. One year later Volunteer Mechanical Inc. had out grown its previous space and moved to its present location at 527 Callahan Drive where it continues to grow.
Currently Volunteer Mechanical has a full sheet metal fabrication shop, large parts warehouse, full line of service and construction vehicles, welders, power tools, lifts and other necessary items to provide professional service and installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
In case of emergencies Volunteer Mechanical has 24/7 emergency service to fix any problems that may arise unexpectedly.
